Cadiz

Cadiz is thought to be the oldest city in Europe, it has kept much of it's original character and Moorish architecture, with narrow cobbled streets.

The new cathedral with it's spectacular golden tiled dome is very interesting, tranquil and calm, and well worth a look.

Donana, one of Spain's most extensive Natural Parks is located on the River Guadalquivir, heading towards the north from Cadiz, between Huelva and Seville. This is a nature lover's paradise and a wildlife wonderland.

Cadiz restaurants offer excellent seafood and many traditional dishes.
