Cordoba

Cordoba is a vibrant, energetic and prosperous city, built on the shores of the River Guadalquivir, located in a fertile region that is known for cultivating olive trees, and producing excellent wine. Despite being in touch with modern times, it still offers the marvellous Arabic architecture, culture and various arts.

A walk round the narrow streets in the white washed Jewish quarters proves very interesting.

If you are feeling energetic you can hike in the Natural Park of the Subbetica mountain range or in the Hornachuelos mountain range. In the Subbetica mountain range, a visit to Zuheros, a town located on the cliff of the mountain is awesome. Climb down into this quaint village to see the castle. Many festivals take place here.

Try the local tapas bars, meet the locals and appreciate this typical Spanish way of life.
