Gibraltar is less than half an hour away – a great place for a day out to see the natural wonder of the famous "Rock" and visit the Barbarian Apes, combined with some duty free shopping is a must.

Tickets for the Tangier Ferry can be purchased at most service stations along the N340, and are well advertised. An early start is recommended for this one, or if you are feeling adventurous why not stay overnight. Alternatively you can book an organised tour. The ferry to Tarifa only takes 35 minutes and makes regular crossings throughout the day. You will experience a whole new culture. Further information available at www.tarifa.net.
